The New York Times - The Polaroid: Imperfect, Yet Magical
Shame they couldn’t have come up with this article BEFORE Polaroid film was discontinued.
I’ve seen at least a dozen articles about how much people Love polaroid film, but they’ve all come after it was too late. Where was the love last year? or the year before that?
I modded my SX-70 to accept 600 film, as it is (was) the most readily available, but even that will soon be gone. You can still get it in the local pharmacies, but it’s now selling for $20 a pack. That’s two bucks per shot, for 600 film (which isn’t even that great, colour-wise).
I’m going to miss using my SX-70.
